About Morish Nuts
Dear Nibblers,
Our history in a
nutshell!
Morish Nuts is a family owned and operated business.
Archie Moroni & Marie Mapp started Morish Nuts in a rented town house in
Cottesloe, Western Australia, with Archie cooking half-kilo batches on a camping
gas ring and Marie bagging and tying the cellophane bags with curling ribbon.
 These first offerings
were then sold at the local universities and markets. The reception to Morish
Nuts was most pleasing and meant that more time had to be allocated to Morish
Nuts and less to Archie's studies at university, until eventually studies were
placed on long term hold to concentrate on producing Morish Nuts.
Morish
Nuts are still made the same individual way, except we can now produce more from
our factory at 139 Kensington Street, East Perth. Our spacious new kitchen
enables us to experiment with new products for your selection, such as our
decadent nut-flavoured fudge and Peanut Brittle and for those with a taste for
the exotic and like that little extra bite, we have developed our own brand of
Hot & Spicy caramel coated peanuts, cashew and macadmia.
Premium selected nuts only are used from Australian producers
when available. We roast and lightly caramel coat to enhance the natural flavour
of the nuts and kernels and no colourant, additives or preservative is added.
Our savoury Morish Nuts products are also an excellent option for those who
prefer a healthier snack! In addition, we have
products which are kosher and halal certified,
as well as peanut-free products.
As only select nuts are used, Morish Nuts are popular
for that unique present because of their excellent taste. The appearance is eye
catching in an elegant candy striped black and white gift box. Besides being an
ideal birthday, anniversary, mothers day and Christmas gift, Morish Nuts make an
excellent addition to any gift hamper and are a
perfect corporate gift where only the taste is
intoxicating.
Morish Nuts are
available at craft fairs, agricultural shows, field
days or special events. Buy them from our mobile market barrows, at our
stall at the Heritage Listed Fremantle Markets or the new factory gift shop at
139 Kensington Street, East Perth.
Morish Nuts
recently wowed magnate Richard Branson's Virgin Blue to become the only food
item carried on the airline's inflight merchandise list. The deal was struck
after a Virgin Blue team member went nutty for the traditional recipe at the

Should you
find it difficult to attend fairs or shows etc, we do offer a comprehensive mail
order service and would welcome adding your name to our list of satisfied
customers furthermore, it offers you the opportunity to win one of our
scrumptious Morish Nuts gift hampers.
Fundraising using the Morish Nuts range has been
suggested by some of our regular clients and has been most successful for the
fundraiser. We therefore now offer a full fundraising service, which we will be
only too pleased to tell you about.
Well dear nibblers, I do hope you
will be tempted to try our Morish Nuts and that you will be another asking
for……

Nuttily yours,
Archie Moroni & Marie Mapp
